The Opportunity

We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Digital Health Solutions TeamHealth Solutions as a Technical Business Development Manager ideally based in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane.

As Business Development Manager you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies for two new IT solutions, Torin and Insight, being launched in ANZ. Your primary role will be to identify new business opportunities and promote these solutions with the intention of securing pilot sites for both products actively and directly.

You will be the ANZ product/solution expert with responsibility for conducting demonstrations to sales prospects and successfully closing sales opportunities.

You will also work closely with the National Sales Manager, DHS to motivate sales colleagues to identify Torin and Insight sales leads by providing clear direction on call points, discovery questions and key messages.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist with the development of national sales strategies and new business opportunities for Torin & Insight.
Identify new market opportunities, drive growth, provide input in determining the optimal pricing to balance profit with customer/client satisfaction. 
Effectively communicate to the National Sales Manager – Digital Health Solutions and other senior management about competitive market conditions, customer feedback and comments, observations and suggestions through reporting systems.
Provide clinical, product and sales support to the National Sales Team – Digital Health Solutions.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations (remotely preferred) and provide product specialist support to customers to facilitate efficient and effective sales growth.
Achieve increased sales of Torin & Insight products consistent with corporate revenue and profit goals and objectives. 
Active management of Sales Force and CRM (Customer Relationship Management Tool) for client records, sales activities, pipeline management relative to sales plans. 
Directly manage client accounts. Maintain key customer relationships and develop and implement strategies for expanding the company’s customer base.
Represent the company professionally at various exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, etc. to generate sales leads and work closely with product marketing to develop and execute campaigns and lead programs.
To succeed in this role you will ideally have at least 5 years sales experience in an IT technical Sales environment and familiarity with a broad range of IT solutions used in the hospital environment, ideally in the operating theatre setting.

You will also have:

Bachelor’s degree in IT, or equivalent.
Specialised training in Sales and/or Marketing. 
Experience working in the Hospital IT landscape with more than 5 years’ experience.
Proven sales track record in a new product/new market environment.
Outstanding consultative selling abilities and excellent interpersonal skills with executive level customers and partners.
Ability to motivate and influence people. Strong Impact and presence.
Established contacts and relationships with potential customers and channel partners.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to create a results driven, team oriented environment.
Experience using Sales Force or equivalent CRM (Customer Relationship Management Tool) for client records, sales activities, pipeline management relative to sales plans. 
Hold and maintain a valid full driver’s license.
